Ventanas Ojochal de Osa Beach

The area that is Playa Ventanas and Playa Tortuga, as it is known by locals, is in Ojochal de Osa, which is a village surrounded by lush greenery, not to mention that is also very close to the beach. It encompasses two scenarios, perfect to enjoy and relax. This beach is very popular with domestic and overseas tourists because of its beauty and caves which are very attractive.

This area is known for its beautiful sunsets, seas with perfect waves for surfing, plus great birdwatching and many animal species such as howler monkeys, macaws, parrots, crabs and mollusks from the area.

The location of Playa Ventanas is approximately 30 km drive from the Dominical area in south of our country, and the best thing is that it is close to other attractions such as the neighboring beaches, Marino Ballena National Park, kayaking and horseback rides between the places that make up the rich and diverse Osa Peninsula.

There are many ways to reach this place, from private car via the South Interamerican highway passing through San Isidro de El General or directly from San José via water, or in public services such as buses, which provide their services frequently. Even if you are coming from San Jose, you can make use of runways in the surrounding areas.
