The town where we are located is an area characterized by its beautiful beaches for the enjoyment of tourists and travelers, but we are also surrounded by mountains in abundance allowing for several different activities, including bird watching. Some birds can be seen from our restaurant and cabins.

Whatever activity you have programmed (hiking, mountain biking, ATV tours, etc.), involves bird watching because they move at their will throughout our area and roost in trees, roofs and other places.

For this tour we especially recommend Rancho La Merced, a place where you can schedule a guided tour including specific information of each of the birds to be found along the way, explaining aspects such as behavior, bird names and others. On a normal day   between 50 and 60 species of birds can be observed in the morning.

Since many areas are declared nature reserves, a lot of bird species have populated the place over time, finding in these areas the perfect niche to eat and reproduce through various supportive environments for proliferation such as mangroves, forests, and wetlands.
